Right after breakfast we left the "cosy" camp ground behind and headed northwards to Lillehammer.
Lillehammer is a nice town which has hosted the Olympic Games in 1994. Since the rain was still pouring we just had a little sightseeing in the town and drove further northwards after 1 hour.
Our plan was to stay at a camp ground between Dombas and Hjerkinn but it was still closed :( I was very sad about it.
To stretch our legs we did a short hike on the Varstigen which is part of the "Kongeveien" instead. It's located directly at the E6 which is the main south - north - connection.
We left Oppdal behind us and drove on RV 70 westwards. Since it was late already we decided to look for a camp ground. Close to the village of Gjöra we found a place which was exactly what I was looking for. It was a very small place and we were the single guests :) You can believe it or not the fresh water came instead from the water tap from a little water fall. The place is located directly at the RV 70 at a river. There's no reception just a note "I'll come around 9 pm". Great if you still have faith in mankind :)
