a muti-kulti fest

ronja and celine - so sweet helping me to make waffles at the fest while waiting for "boss to arrive" lol :D
as ive said in my blog yesterday, i had to go home early because i make waffles in a streetfest the next day :D laughs.
ok, aside from learning the complicated german language, i also work part time (student jobs) in a social center run by the government of the city. we have lots of after-school offer - computer course, kickboxing and karate, cooking club, german lessons for turkish women, for arab boys - internet cafe - billards - tabletennis - which i handle, assignments and girl groups ages from elementary until 17 years old.
then 5 social centers in the area every year organizes a streetfest in the rochus park and our offer was turkish and german pastries delicacies.
it was the most amazing thing ive witnessed in my life - europeans and arabs mixing together in harmony.
a first class piano students from one of düsseldorf's top music school played classical music and one of the kids im caring before - akhmed from marokko is in a band and was singing rap and hiphop with german lyrics and with different nationalities as audiences and i couldnt believe that gypsies from macedonia actually like waffles (laughs) - the waffles really sold like hotcakes (laughs) and my arab boys were eating cheesecakes and cherry pies (normally everyday they eat döner - a middleastern delicacy) so its really a shock for me (but i forced them to buy *winks* hehehe)
i still believe that the world could have peace and harmony one day and this one proves it.
