Some side seeing and culture in Milan and Venice combined with beach, laziness and party in Rimini :)

Central station
We arrived at Bergamo airport at 9.20 in the morning, then went to get some breakfast and dropped our stuff at the hotel. We stayed in the 4 star Windsor hotel, which was really nice.

It was 37 degrees so we went to the cestello sforzesco fountain next to the fort, chilled in there :) The next day we did some more side seeing and used the hop-on hop-off bus. In the evening there was a jazz festival to which we went. We only had two nights in Milan.

We continued our trip from by train to Venice. Most of the ticket machines on Milan central station were broken so there was an enourmous queue at the ticket offices :/ My mate was in a queue and i was checking out if the ticket machines were back up again, and miracously, one of the 8 machines in a row came to live when i passed by, so no queue! :) Though, 2nd/base class tickets were sold out so we traveled first class... and our train was 50 minutes delayed :(

Windsor Hotel Milan
This was the first hotel of my Italy trip with a friend. We were looking for a hotel near the historic centre of Milan. Came across offer for this hotel.

The staff was really nice and their English was good. The room was big and clean, as you may expect from a 4 star hotel.

Use of the mini-bar in the room is free. It's refilled daily, which was nice :) Every room has a wired internet connection. Use of the Internet connection is free too.

The bed was good, and of course the room was air-conditioned. The only thing that woke me up once in the morning was the tram, which is right next to the hotel. We only had dinner in the hotel once, though the food was good.
