We drove Lisbon to Penche the day arrived in Portugal.It was about 2hrs journey if you dont use the motorways or toll roads.I was planing to visit Ilhas Berlengas one of a Must see 1001 natural wonders.Unfortunately weather was not permited us to visit to this lovely wonder.All the ferries were cancelled.It was a bit dissapointment in the begining but I was so positive about the rest of our journey.We stayed in a lovely hotel in Peniche.Across the road open to the fine sandy beach.
Peniche is a busy fishing town with a large harbor,some excellent seafood restaurants and very popular among surfers.
