Walking on sunshine? - Nope, not really!
Opening the eyes in the morning and seeing a dark sky wasn't the worst thing 'cause it's already getting kind of autumnal. ...
Hmmm, the only problem was that the sun didn't want to show up for the following hours, which wasn't really pleasant but rather a little depressing. Well, okay, just because this lazy sun wanted to stay in bed covered in a blanket of thick and grey clouds you don't have to stop dreaming of a sunnier, brighter and more cheerful place! A certain piece of holiday atmosphere can also be created by having vivid fantasies. ...
Heavy showers and a chilly wind didn't make things better and reminded of a "Raindrops keep Falling on my Head" feeling but on the other hand this weather could have reminded of this "I'm Singing in the Rain" mood as well. You always have to think positively!
How about leaning back in a comfy hammock, (do not forget sun screen, sun glasses and sun hat) with a fresh drink in the one hand and a camera in the other hand so that you'd be able to capture the setting sun? - Not bad, not bad all at but not within reach at that moment. ...
That's why one of the best ways to round off such a day was heading to the "Schukurama", which is both a snug café arranged as a modern lounge and a cinema. After we had had our sundaes, shakes and exotic coffees and we had watched a movie the sun rose (literally spoken).

You find this pretty café arranged in a cosy lounge style with an attached cinema in the town of Beeskow .
It’s a charming café at the first sight - modern and comfy interiors, attentive staff, an enticing menu (especially for ice-cream, dessert and coffee fans).
After savouring a few lovely treats there I know - yes, the Schukurama is a likable place at second glance, too!
As soon as you enter the Schukurama you notice this warm and welcome atmosphere, which covers you like a blanket of joy.
Brightly coloured walls, a bar with a large selection of (non-) alcoholic drinks, comfy couches and seats and delicious looking ice-cream are the first impressions to capture.
The fresh, homemade and constantly changing range of ice-cream is available as a tasteful sundae or in form of an ice-cream cone.
I highly recommend the shakes there, too! I had a coconut shake that tasted incredibly exotic and aromatic.
If you’re a friend of coffee and hot drinks you’ll be totally pleased as well because there’re heaps of wonderful, enjoyable and exquisite coffees and hot chocolate variations sold.
Coffees from all over the world are served in astonishing combinations. Interested in trying a coffee with cinnamon, chili or brandy? Go for it!
The bartenders and waiters are very cordial and always keen on giving you advices if you can’t pick your favourite drink. It’s always nice if you know that the staff isn’t just staff but has a certain background knowledge to share.
All in all the Schukurama is a gorgeous café/lounge with a splendid and reasonable selection of ice-cream, snacks and drinks.
Music, regular slide shows by world travellers or the movies make you feel like being on a short trip.
