Cynthia and Yadi, with their stuffed travbuddies
Since Cynthia and Anthony didn't have an alarm clock, hahaha. After having a tasty breakfast. Cynthia and me left the hostel. We'd go to an internet cafe. It was early, but we finally found one. A while later we went back to the hostel. She and Anthony would leave at 10:30am, so we still had time to take some pictures and took things easy, just chill out. Being laaaazy, hehe.

It was time for the guys to leave, buuuu. I really enjoyed their company but it wouldn't take long until I met them again and this time in my hometown, yeah!!! I'd be their guide there, yay!!!

They left, but we still had plenty of time to kill. Shawn and me were leaving almost at same time: 5pm. Check out was at noon, so it'd be pointless to go to downtown and then being in a hurry to come back soon.

Also, we had already explored that area. Therefore, we decided to stay to walk around our neighborhood: "La Alborada".

It was sunny and very hot. Pfff, so good it wasn't like that the day before when we were walking a lot. It was nice to walk around a non touristy area and just see how people live. I was thinking people weren't that friendly, but then I saw a man selling crabs. They were covered with a piece of cloth and when I tried to take a pic, the man remove the cloth, so I could get a good one, nice! There were also kind people, hehe.

Finally we went back to the hostel. We did check out and would leave our stuff in the storage room (?) while we would go for lunch in the nearby. Suddenly it happened. I was about closing my purse, when I noticed I was missing something.
the storage room, hahaha.
My camera! So, I started to look for it as a crazy person. Shawn noticed something wasn't right. I told him: "my camera!" So he went downstairs. The last place I saw it was when we were doing the check out. A few minutes later he came back. "Oh no! pink camera wasn't there!" I was thinking about all the pics I took the day before... and the pink camera... I'd try one more time at the office, but nothing. I was feeling bad and didn't want to do anything. Right before leaving the room I saw the cleaning ladies and told them if they could clean the room right now, so we could move all the furniture and then... "Here it is!" - said Shawn. OMG! I was feeling good again. I restarted to smile, yay!!!

Now I was hungry again, hahaha. There was a "shopping center" nearby, hahaha.
Minigunther wanted to try the encebollado :P
It was more about small restaurants with fish and seafood. We found a nice place which offered food from "Manabi", that is the area we were traveling around while we were in the coast. Yummy! Shawn got a encebollado and I got shrimp cebiche. That would be my last Ecuadorian cebiche during this trip. Food was good, but not as good as eating it on the beach. Then we went to another small restaurant almost next door. There we got tasty and refreshing fruit salads. They were perfect for the hot weather.

Went back to the hostel, picked up our stuff and drove to the airport. We had still lot of time, but better hanging out at the airport where we had a/c and wi-fi, hehehe. The airport was nice and since it was early, I did the check in really fast. Checked the big bag and now I was free to move.

Went to change clothes and got ready for cold Lima, brrrr.

We weren't hungry at all, but went to a cafe just for a cup of coffee, but when we saw a delicious piece of cake we couldn't help to order it. But just 1 and to share :) This would be the perfect sweet end for my gastronomic tour. I went to pay airport fee and was time to leave :( Traveling around Ecuador was awesome and I spent a great time with Shawn, so many experiences, our gastronomic tours, so many things... nevermind it won't take long until we meet again...

I went to my gate and waited for a bit for my flight. Hahaha, in Argentina they sell meat at the Duty Free and here they sell shrimp, hahaha. Well, it was time to board. The plain wasn't full, yay! There was plenty of room for my carry on and nobody would sit next to me, yay! So, minigunther would take that sit, hehehe. We left on time and as usual the service was great. Ecuador was a great experience and I was sad about leaving so much behind, but I'll be back soon, yes! sooner than expected ;)
