Welcome to Montanita
The hostel wasn't my favorite one, but was ok. Most important: I didn't have to carry the big backpack for long and knew some of the guests, hehehe.
it was yummy!
Left my stuff, took a quick shower, changed clothing and was ready to leave. Rob, the other German guy, met 2 other Germans at the hostel, haha. It was weird being in Ecuador listening mostly to German, hahaha. The 4 guys and me went to get something to eat. I wasn't that hungry and was in my vegetarian mood. So I decided to look for fruit salad, but no luck. But while I was walking around I saw some stands offering corn and I got one, hehe. It was the first time eating corn with chimichurri dressing and Parmesan cheese, sounds strange but was good! Then I joined the Germans who were eating something at a small restaurant. While we were there Shawn called, yay! So good to listen to him.

In our way back, the guys got a bottle of rum and coke. I went to an intenet cafe and we met at the hostel a bit later. Now the group was bigger. The new members were a Swiss couple and 2 other Germans, haha. The Swiss were thinking about going to Peru after Ecuador and since I was the Peruvian one, it was my turn to give tips, hehehe.
Jens came back and was hungry, so we went to grab a bite. When we were looking for a place to eat earlier, we saw a stand selling burritos and that is the place where we went this time, hahaha, but I got a veggie burrito ;) We went back to the hostel and I kept on with my Ambassador duty, hehehe.
party street at night
I was having a great time with the gang, but was a bit tired. It has been a long day and I wanted to wake up early next morning in order to move from hostel. So, I decided to leave. Said goodbye to the group and Darren offered to walk me to the hostel. Thanks! I arrived to the hostel at 1 something, wrote a bit and went to bed. But first I sat my alarm clock ;)
This 1st day in Ecuador was loooong but lots of fun!
