Mmm, weather conditions haven't changed, so we'd leave Canoa before noon. We decided to start packing and leave everything ready before going for breakfast. William and Lisa wanted to have breakfast at the hostel: scrambled eggs, benedict eggs, waffles, mmm.
Oh no! we walked and walked but couldn't find encebollado. Should we go back to the place where the lady wasn't that nice? mmm. Suddenly we saw a kiosk right on the beach saying: "El rincon del encebollado" (Encebollado's corner), yay! I think we have a winner!!! The owner and his friends were chatting there and when he saw us, he asked his friends to move and set a table for us. We were celebrities, yay! We ordered 1 encebollado, not knowing what to expect. There were another 2 people eating there and one was saying the customer, that he missed him so much when he wasn't in town, since the encebollados without him weren't the same.
A couple of minutes later, our encebollado came. It's like a soup, warm and tasty, perfect for the windy weather. It was delicious and they gave us chifles to soak the juice, yummy!!!! Before leaving I approached to the owner, who was inside the kiosk now. I told him we have been looking for encebollados the day before but didn't know they serve it just for breakfast. "Oh no! We serve them the whole day! Maybe who told you so, just wanted you to eat at his restaurant, mmm." Oh well, at least we were able to try it and it the best place! He was also telling me that the encebollados along the coast could be different, but the ones in Canoa are better. No doubts about it. The one we had was delicious!
Since we arrived to Canoa, we saw a pizza kiosk just in front of the hostel, but never had the chance to try it.
By the time we were back at the hostel it was around 11. William told us the talked to Mau and we could go trekking for a couple of hours before leaving Canoa, cool! I got ready, wearing snickers and then I saw that it was sunny!!! So Mau made a phone call and after all we'd be able to go fishing.
Mau lent us a waterproof bag, how nice! We put there just our cameras and a couple of stuff more and were ready to leave. The crew of our boat arrived. I was so excited, this would be my 1st fishing experience, yay!!! The boat was already waiting for us. When I saw it, I was so surprised. It was a really small boat, OMG! It was my 1st time doing it and I have imagined a big boat.
Before boarding the boat, the guys introduced theirselves. Our captain's name was Stalin, the other guy was shy and never said his name... It was my first time and didn't think we'd get so wet while we were going into the sea, hahaha. Our captain "Stalin" was giving us instructions and I was in charge of translating them, hahaha. So good, I kept my camera in the bag, so it wouldnt' get wet, pfff. Well, now the fishing adventure has officially started, how exciting! The idea was fishing something, then go to another beach, cook the fish and come back to Canoa. We were leaving late - later than 2pm - and were expecting to come back before sunset. It was very sunny, very nice indeed. What happened next was an adventure, a fun one!
