We came back to Manta around noon and went straight to the hotel to look for our new friends. Maybe we could have lunch together. But we couldn't find them. They left a message for us, saying they were with other of Shawn's friend. They were having lunch in a restaurant nearby. It'd have been nice to join them, but we have already made plans with Roger and were looking forward to have fresh fish and seafood in front of the beach. Having Mediterranean food is tasty, but I wanted something local :P
We went to the restaurant just to meet Lisa & William and let them know we'd be back around 2pm and we'd wait for them there, so we could start our journey to our next stop: Canoa.
After finding a parking spot, our mission was right now to find a place to eat, hehehe. There were many restaurants, but we decided to go to one that had a second floor, yay!!! It was a bit windy for the first floor and upstairs we could get a beautiful view of the sea and the tuna boats.
It was hot, so we ordered a beer while we were thinking what to get. Finally we made a decision. Roger got "chicharron de camaron" (fried shrimp), Shawn got shrimp too, but cooked different and I got "Cebiche de conchas" (dark clams cebiche!).
Back at the hotel, we had to wait a bit for the guys. William wasn't ready yet, oh well no big deal, that meant we could spend more time with Roger, yay! William arrived and now we were ready to leave. The car was completely packed, hahaha. The guys were traveling since a couple of months and had 2 big backpacks plus small ones, hehehe.
After saying good bye to our friends, we started the journey to Bahia. Now Shawn would have 3 human GPS's hahaha, hopefully we'd perform a good job :)
