I started to peel
As usual I woke up early, hahaha, what a surprise. I slept very well, went to the bathroom and saw the mirror, oh no!!! I started to peel!!! no!!!! and the tan was supposed to last until I was back in Lima, mmm. We'd still hang out along the beach for a few days, uffff. Anyway, I got ready and decided to go outside to find the perfect spot to start writing. Just needed my notebook/journal and my iPod, hehehe. The hotel was very nice. It had a pool and nice flowers. So, instead of staying inside the room, I preferred to sit down near the pool and enjoy the nice weather, at same time I was taking some pics for the review, hehehe.

I found it more comfortable to write in the dining area, which was open air and the waiter approached to me asking how I'd like to have my eggs for breakfast.
ready to write
"Thanks! but I'm not having breakfast yet. I'd do it in a while, but I wouldn't have eggs :P" I wrote for a bit until other guests arrived. So, I decided to go back to my room and found that Shawn was ready too.

We went to the dining area and got a tasty breakfast: juice, fruit, coffee, eggs, jam, butter and bread. I just ate the fruit, juice and coffee. It was a lot! This hotel was very popular among the tourists and expats. In less than 5min, Shawn has already met 2 friends, hahaha. One of them he met for 1st time just a couple of days ago when he was in Manta before meeting me in Montanita. This guy, William, was in Manta with his girlfriend, Lisa. They both are American and were traveling around the country.
Roger was arriving
They'd become an important part of our journey, how so? well, they didn't know where to go: south or north? Then we let them know we were coming from the south and we had wheels, hahaha. So they made their decision easily, they'd go to the north and asked if we could give them a ride. Sure! The more the merrier and we could share expenses, how great!

We had already made plans with Roger, so we would meet our new 2 friends by noon at the hotel. Deal! It was around 9:30 when Roger arrived. Our adventure would start with a visit to the Fishmarket in Tarqui - which is part of Manta. Before leaving Roger told us, there was a tiny accident. The vase of the blender got broken!!!! OMG! Shawn talked to his friend and asked him how he can pay him back, but he was so kind and said we shouldn't worry about that, how sweet!

Well, it was time to start moving.
tuna, tuna!!! who wants tuna!!!
We drove along the main road to the fish market. Usually you go to the fish market really early if you want to see all the action, but we weren't that excited, hahaha. We arrived at 9:30 more less, which was still good. We were able to see some fish stalls. Tunas were so so so big, they were huge!!!!

I also saw octopus and huge shrimps, wow! Everything was about fish and seafood, well almost everything I saw a chicken stall, hahaha. Fishermen were ready with work and were packing the fish to refrigerate them. What impressed me was the fact, that there was a new group of stalls with water and good conditions, but they preferred the old wooden ones, hahaha. People like to keep their traditions.

After walking and watching people working here, we decided to move. We'd go to a town nearby, Montecristi. But we'd come back here for lunch. At the restaurants along the beach you could get the best and most fresh fish and seafood :P
