I spent 5 weeks in Florence with 20 other interior design students from the States. We studied Renaissance art, architecture and the villas around Tuscany. I had the most amazing time!

Exploring Florence

Laura and I went exploring and found a bookstore Rick Steves recommended in his Florence book. The name of the bookstore is escaping me at the moment. I love how in Florence you never know what's around the corner. This bookstore was one block from the Duomo and we've walked past that at least 3 times a day.

These days are going by surprisingly slow. Days don't usually last this long to me. Can days be longer in Italy?

Earlier tonight we had gelato at Vivoli. Supposedly it's the best gelato in the world, but I couldn't tell that much of a difference from what I've had so far. But then again I'm no expert. However, at the rate I'm going, I should be an expert soon enough.
