Paris from Notre Dame

France is a country located in Western Europe.  Officially the French Republic but many just called it France, just like me. France also comprises various overseas islands and territories located in other continents. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea, and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean.

France is bordered by Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, Andorra, and Spain. Due to its overseas departments, France also shares land borders with Brazil and Suriname (bordering French Guiana), and the Netherlands Antilles (bordering Saint-Martin).

France is linked to the United Kingdom by the Channel Tunnel, which passes underneath the English Channel. I had the opportunity to take the Eurostar from London (Waterloo Station) to Paris (Gare du Nord). It feels like any normal train ride. The staff notifies the passengers when the train is entering and exiting the Channel Tunnel.

Paris is the capital city of France. It is located on the River Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region. For many a modeling and stylish mega city for others just another city. Paris offers amazing skylines from many locations in the city.
