Arrival in Dunkerque
August 1, 2009
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We have finally arrived in Dunkerque after 20 1/2 hours of walking and 39 hours without sleep. The first thing we did was searching for our hotel. This was not that difficult. We had us some glasses of red wine, and some music. Well I guess it was time for a nice shower and to take my ass to bed.... Tomorrow a new day

L'hirondelle Hotel Dunkerque
I stayed in hotel L'hirondelle for one night.
Note: I didn't have breakfast or a diner in the hotel, so no comment about that.
The hotel is located in a quiet street nearby the beach and close to the main centre.
It is a comfortable hotel with two lifts to reach your room quickly (sometimes to quickly, feeling like I was launched). The rooms are average and clean. The bathroom is large! The bed slept good, maybe because i didn't slept for 39 hours and walked for 20 1/2 hours ;-)
Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
The staff is ok and understand and speak english.
