Berlin to Dresden to Prague

Left Berlin early on way to Prague. Stopped in Dresden for 3 hours on the way. Ride through eastern Germany felt like US midwest but with better highways! Dresden was hammered by allied bombing; in fact 95% of city destroyed. Has been rebuilt over the years and now stands as monument to recovery and reunification. Standing in shadow of reconstructed city yielded feelings of being there during the destruction.....
