A hot sunny day in Liège

Many of us, Dutch people, only know Liège as a traffic bottle neck driving to the south of Europe……, second as a grey industrial town,………. well, that’s a memory from years and years ago. Highways are approved by now. And Liège worked very hard on her image J

A friend of mine who used to study in Liège invited me to explore the city (‘you will be surprised’).
Keeping that in mind I was more than happy to see a city, rich of history, with a great atmosphere. Nice restaurants. Very nice to spend a weekend. We only stayed one night, but for sure an extra day would have been more than welcome!
