Well it has been a while since I wrote in here, but I have some free time and think I should share this trip. I thought it was pretty awesome. Like the overview says. It was a journey for a pair of boots. Limmer Boot has the reputation of being the best custom made hiking boots you can get. I made my reservation with a two year wait and my turn finally came this year.
So it was late April and I decided that I would take my motorcycle for this journey. I have always wanted to see the North East area of the country and an unobstructed view would be great. I have a Kawasaki Versys. It is a 650cc engine with a great set of hard cases on it and perfect for light touring. So it was the morning of the day and I had breakfast at Waffle House with my good friend Bob and hit the road.
