Winter visit to Ballarat Wildlife Park
July 12, 2008
My cousin was visiting from overseas, her only request was that she sees a koala and kangaroo (preferably hold them) - she didn't care about scenery. hahaha So we took her to Ballarat Wildlife Park. Due to the expensive admission fee, only I accompanied her while everyone else waited outside. Had a fun time inside, we saw a joey, it was soooo cute - we played with it for 10 minutes before heading to the koala enclosure. You need to pay $20 for a photo session with the koalas, you get 1 professional photo but you may bring your own camera and take as many photos as you can. It's $10 for an extra copy of the professional photo. At the wombat show, I was able to lift up the baby wombat, it was 30 kilos! That's prety heavy for a baby. My cousin was so impressed - I'm more impressed with the German girl who was able to carry it with ease. >_<
