It's not easy being a Dalmatian - some think it's just a dog
As a Dalmatian you are born with a certain pride, you know, like "Proud to be Dalmatian". You also inherit this specific spite-gene, like, "You screw with Dalmatia and I'll kill you". Dalmatians, on the other hand, constantly fight each other in terms of whose town is nicer and who has got the better wine, pršut, prettier girls and most beautiful sunset. But when someone from the outside dares to criticize Dalmatia, we forget about our internal quarrels and stand together to protect the "most beautiful land in the world". This is lame, I know, but that's how it is J
Traditionally, the city of Split is supposed to be the most beautiful dalmatian city, with the most beautiful Riva (about that later …), the prettiest girls, and, and, and…. Okay, I second that, Split does have a certain spirit that is unique. But, wait till you come to Zadar…… So, I'll put on my "Proud to be from Zadar"-T-shirt here, and tell you a little something about it, off the beaten path.
