The day before leaving...

Ok, so I've started packing up my backpack this morning, and organising a few last-minute things before I leave for LA tomorrow! I can't wait to fly out - just 24 short hours and I'll be at the Adelaide airport ready to get on the plane! I'm taking 'Persuasion' by Jane Austen as my flight-reading, and when I get in to LAX i'll leave it on a seat in the terminal somewhere with a note saying 'this is a free book - take me on your travels, then leave me somwhere for the next lone traveller to find.' I'm having my last good-bye lunch with family today - my Aunty Cathy is cooking, which means the food is ALWAYS excellent! Guess I'll write again when I'm in LA.
