Sekhmet, animal-headed deity found in the "Temple of the Obelisks"

Today was so BAD!!!  The food poisoning made me feel terrible.  I had no energy to do anything but lay in bed. Rob let me sleep as late as possible and got everything ready for us to change hotels.  That was an extreme effort for me. We got to the new hotel and I crashed.  I had AC and TV so I was set.  Rob went out and got me drinks and some bland food to eat. I didn’t want him to miss out on seeing something due to this, so I insisted that he do the things we had planned for the day.

After I was settled Rob headed out to the National Museum.  He took lots of pictures.  After the museum he tried to see the hippodrome, but could not find the way in.  On the way he saw a very cool statue of a soldier with a blindfold holding scales (Lebanese version of the justice statue).  He wanted to take a picture, but a solder signaled him not to as it was in front of a military building.  After that he came back to check on me then went out to eat as I was still alive and had found American sitcoms to watch.  His belly full he came back and just hung out with me.  We went out to the supermarket to get dinner. I still needed bland and simple.  After that we watched a little TV and the Rob read me more chapters of the book(A little history of the world) to me.  What a day! Please let me feel better tomorrow…..the tours are starting!
