Six Flags

The first thing we did in Illinois, besides relax, was Six Flags in Gurnee.   This is a really great amusement park.    It was really cold and rainy there all day, really strange for Illinois in June.  We actually left the park half was through the day to go shopping for warmer clothes.  The boys went home with the rest of the family, me and my wife stayed at the Hilton at O’Hara because we were leaving for Niagara Falls the next day.
