Playing golf at the Golf de Sperone course

I had looked forward to Sperone for some time and I was happy to be there. We were at the Golf de Sperone a couple of hours before we had our tee off and we had only been able to get the flight as of 2pm. The temperature was on the very good side of 30 degrees Celsius and there was a fair wind which helped a little bit.
Do to the heat we were able to get a flight at 1.20pm which we were glad for. As many other places in France, the prices were in general ridiculous. Green fee was 100 euro, which is in the high end but not abnormal. What did cost was all the rest; we had not brought anything so we had to rent almost everything except shoes.
Balls for the practise was 2 euro for a small bucket; 45 euro for a cart, 45 euro for clubs, 1,60 euro per lake ball and so on. When all this is said; it is a fabulous golf course with a couple of spectacular holes along the cliffs and the sea. To me 11, 12, 15 and especially 16 were awesome. We played okay but not great and we did the course in little less than 3 hours and 40 minutes. Afterwards we went to the club house and relaxed before we headed back to Bonifacio for some cold showers.
