We arrived at Palolem beach (GOA) after a good 11 ours driving and about 300km. We had no big breakdowns so we has some luck on our side. before it got dark we arrived at the beautiful beach of Palolem. We were the second group to arrive there. First we parked at at 'carpark' downtown Palolem, but that was the wrong place we had to be at the resort. After a quick beer (Kingfisher) we drove for 2 minutes the backside of the Dreamcatcher resort. We parked there an checked in to the resort. Me and Paul got cabin 18 named Jasmyn that has to be a sign!! hahaha. Called jasmyn at home and told her that we slept in a cabin named after here. The cabin's were very simple but clean, we only needed our maglite for the bathroom because the light didn't work.
After a quick shower we went to the restaurant for some good food and some drinks. After walking the beach at night and some more beers in one of the many bars we called it a day and went to sleep. The day after we had a day of in this beautiful place!!
Palolem beach stretches between two magnificent headlands and the beach is lined with towering coconut palms. Every season bamboo-hut resorts and restaurants are erected along the beach allowing tourists to stay right on the sand, only a few meters away from a swim in the Arabian Sea. The beach huts range from very basic to somewhat luxurious, with en suite huts becoming more common every year. Palolem provides beautiful accommodation for all types of traveler with prices varying throughout the season; [palolem-beach.

After a goodnight sleep it was time to go to the beach. A back entrance of the resort brings you in 2 minutes to the beautiful beach of Palolem Goa. The beach is full of cousy restaurnst were you can relaxe, eat and drink the whole day. The sea temperature was great, not even the 'normal' cold feeling when you got in, nope sea was warm!! The rest of the day we relaxed and walked across the beach, sometimes stopping for a drink (Beer!!)(yes we had a day of). At night we had a BBQ in the resort, with some good fresh fish and other food and drinks (wine). After the BBQ we had a meetup with the local bars in Palolem. This is one of the few places in India were you can party till the morning and were alcohol is legal. So we stayed untill morning sunrise (5:30am) and went to bed. But at7:30 the alarm went and we had to get up for another day of hours of rickshaw driving! 8 o 'clock we left, paul driving because i had a terrible hangover this morning.
