Landed in Hochimihn around 11am. We left our luggages at the airport and searched for a place to eat. We took a taxi following by the airport's manager guide and we were cheated. We had no idea about that market, taxi driver charged us triple of how much it should be. Ok first hit. No more second or third. We'll be more careful.
Found one nice restaurant with air-con. It was hot in Hochimihn, we passed many good street food but it was too hot to eat outside.
Our food served in big plate. Tasty. Free wifi and we can charge mobile's battery there! :) Nice one, recommend.
I wanted to use foursquare apps on my iPhone to check in and post on my Facebook but .... Vietnam's government blocked Facebook! Oh hahaha .. Ok! So we don't have to just play on our iPhone! Good!! :)
After meal we walked around the market where people said it's a big market in Hochimihn city.
We decided to spend time by walking back to the airport. 20 minutes by car but took hours by walk. Laila couldn't walk much after eat so we took a break at coffee shops along the way. :)
I like it when we walked. We saw things closely. I like architecture in this city but it doesn't make me feel excited to see like how I felt with Korea.
This is my second time in Vietnam. First trip was in 2006 to Hanoi. Even it was just the first day here but I know I like North of Vietnam more than Center or South.
Finally we arrived the airport again, tired, exhausted- ready to fly to Dalat with hope that would be much more better than Hochimihn.
Dalat at night was a bit cold. The owners of this place are really friendly and kind. I booked this place, Yoki Guesthouse, from Bangkok. Made a mistake by telling her the wrong flight/time. We would arrive at 9pm but told her 9am in the email so taxi driver came once in the morning and didn't find us. The owner was kind. Didn't complain anything at all about this. She sent taxi to pick up us again at night, and it was a van not a car. Comfortable.
Our place is one hour far from the airport so we arrived there about 11am. The kitchen was closed but we were hungry they can cooked a simple menu for us, it's Phoe-Vietnamese noodle soup. Yummy!
It was quitet at this place. Its the house not hotel. Everyone slept already. We're tired too so should sleep now.
We booked one room with two beds. Laila and I slept on a big one, Aoz was on a small one. Night guys, night all.
No! I couldn't sleep!!!
Aoz snored too loud!! Haha.We used to travel together but never stayed in the same room-wow! Getting louder and louder. I don't know how Laila could sleep haha.
I wax tired listening to his snore so i felt asleep when I don't know when.
