Today we had a one day trip. The van picked up us around 8pm to go out of town. Plan 1) Temple and lake in town 2) Coffee filed/ Sunflower field/ Wine factory 3) Take cable to see the vietnam view 4) Silk Factory 5) Linh An Tu temple 8) Water fall 7) Langbiang Moutain 7) Local village

First place is the temple near lake. It was nice but too hot. The second place should be a Coffee field. I thought the driver would take us to a big coffee field but he parked on the street and pointed to coffee trees on the street, saying that here it is :S we can't even go inside?!

Not interesting as same as a sunflower field. It's more beautiful in my country. The next one is a coffee shop where they produce wine. Thought it was a big place like I've seen but here's so small and a bit dirty.

LangBiang Moutain
The owner asked me to test his wine - it was really bitter! And it wasn't wine. :S It's taste more like a strong Thai whisky. Really.

The cable are was fine. Only 5 minutes there, view down here was only tree. :) Then the driver brought us to silk factory, similar to Thai silk factory - we bought neck-tie, silk cloths and scarf for mom/friends, it was cheap. Next place is Linh An Tu Temple. Big one, beautiful. Had lunch at a nice place. Food was good - more like Thai food than vietnamese food. Then heading to a waterfall (I don't remember the name). One foreigner old lady got accident at the time we're there. The way to see waterfall is a bit difficult so had to be careful every step. There's a big hole - height about 3 meters near the waterfall view point.

If you pass this one, you'll see the waterfall closely. This lady missed it, she fell in the hole. She came with, I think, her husband. She's brave. People were helping her up. She broke her legs T_T What I don't understand is, someone got accident like this but they still open for other tourists and locals to get in. I walked pass that hole and saw her inside. Wow, what if I fell too? The water fall was beautiful but it's too close. You don't have a place to sit to relax here. It just a place that you come up to see waterfall - about 5 minutes then have to go down because other tourists are waiting. The driver told me that last few months one vietnamese girl jumped from the top to suicide. She was pressure by her parents about the school. T_T

The next place is Langbiang Moutain.

at wine factory, they also sell homemade coffee.
The normal car can't go up. After bought ticket we had to change to the national park car and remembered the number of your car because they came to pick up again in a half hour. It's beautiful up here. I think this place is the best in Dalat that I've seen.

When we're back, the driver took us to the last place of today's trip. It's a village of local-more like northern houses in Thailand but every houses were empty. I felt like i was a tourist visited Karen village in Thailand. It's the same but the houses here were empty. The driver who was also a guide told us that the owners of the houses were not at home, went to work but ... those houses were unclean like no one stays there. And I think no one lives there as well. It's just a place that keeps for tourist :S The silk shop was .

.. unexplainable. All silk cloth was unclean as it stays there for year. I'm sorry I complain too much but it wasn't impressed me at all.

Do I complain too much??? :P

Tonight was a new year night. Many people come out to the center of the city. Too many people at an early night. Teenagers, family came out to celebrate but not so long. I saw the stage thought they would countdown tonight but only at 9 pm everything was clear. People went back home. No one. Wow. Quiet city indeed. They didn't even do the countdown. I knew later that they didn't care for this new year. They give the respect for the Chinese new year instead. :)

Back home and prepared to go back to Hochimihn city next morning. Tonight we had to change room. This one is more big with two rooms so I slept on a sofa in another room. Laila and Aoz stayed in the same room. I couldn't sleep if I was in there too. Snoring noise was bothering me.
T_T I'm sorry Aoz.

Night!
