0482 Heading across Italy (Italy 007—new)

It took me a little while to figure out how to get out of Rome… I had to take a train from the main station to another station, and from their catch a train to Lungezza in the west… But this all cost me less then a Euro, so I won’t complain… Big contrast with, say, Frankfurt where it costs 5 Euros just to get out of the city…

I soon find a quiet place to camp outside of the village--  so it seems I’m getting right back into the camping routine…

Next morning I go to check out the village.  It’s not scruffy enough to be charming like Setti Camini nor is it beautiful… I find a very bland little park to play my music in and walk up and down its streets.

I figure I’ll just see what’s on the other side of the tracks before I leave and… lo and behold… Lungezza has a castle!  It looks like a family castle that’s still inhabited--  I take a videoclip in front and sneak inside to the inner patio for a quick look… A nice little surprise in an otherwise pretty boring village…

I wander down the country road a short ways, then head on back to the train station and head on my way…
