8.15am. 1degree and we head south. We like to see scenery! The coldness made for some spectacular views. Our first stop was in Greeveston. By the time we got there we thought it would be good to have some breakfast. We had a quick look around and found a cafe that we thought would suit us. We ended up there for longer than we thought as we chatted and enjoyed our breakfast.
When we set off, we headed further south towards the Tahune air walk. We hadn't fully decided that we would walk it but figured that if there was something interesting on the way we would stop and if not, we would do the walk.
A couple of short stops to take photos but nothing that really took too much time. Finally we arrived and paid to do the walk. There are 3 walks but we only did the air walk.
All worth it though. The river and the trees were spectacular. I would have liked to do the 2 swing bridges as well but didn't think I would be able to handle it after what I was like on the walkway. So we went and had a cuppa and an icecream before heading back to Hobart.
We didn't go exactly the way we had planned but that didn't matter. We came across a place called the Shot Tower so we went in and Andrew climed to the top while I checked out the shop. We then headed back to our hotel. We had a drink before heading to the waterfront to buy fish and chips for dinner. Tonight we relax and look forward to what tomorrow might bring.
