Arriving in Las Vegas
July 12, 2009
The sound of the wheels touching down ...
Dan and I walked towards our luggage and while walking Dan texted Mel (mellemel8) as was pre-arranged ... She texted back and we waited in anticipation ... I was excited to meet-up with Mel again, I hadn't seen her in 8 months since my last TB meet-up in Tucson, Arizona ... and then we saw her in the distance

Gandhi India's Cuisine
Yummy ... Gandhi may not be right along the strip but it is a must to go to!! The service is unbelievable and the food is delicious. We were lucky to have local TB'ers suggest what to order from the menu and boy the choice that were made were awesome ... everyone order a plate and we all shared in each of these fantastic 'dishes' ... the atmosphere was fantastic for all of us TB'ers to enjoy each other's company while 'feasting' on the India Cuisine and opening my eyes to another wonderful cultural food!
From their web: "Our menu is varied to please the most discriminating palate, concentrating on the traditional Indian food and flavors that our parents taught us back home. The presentation of the fair begins at lunchtime with a buffet awash in the sophisticated spices native to India and culminates at dinner-time with the fragrant entrees and delicacies that have made us famous. Join us for either, and find Indian food in Las Vegas that rivals the most exquisite temptations of old Bombay….." http://www.gandhicuisine.com/las_vegas_indian_restaurant_about.html
