Kara walking down a street in the San Blas area towards town

After a very long final day on the Inca Trail, we returned to Cusco and stayed just down the road from our favoured hostel, which unfortunately had been fully booked for the night.

We spent a couple of days relaxing after our exertions and we even managed to go to an "Irish" pub.  Allegedly the highest 'Irish-owned' pub in Peru, South America, The World, Cusco or something.  Called Paddy's (probably) and just off the main square.  I'm writing this 3 1/2 months after the event, hence the vagueness!  Despite everyone promising to be there it was just our new friends Katie and Matt (whe we'd just had food with), Kara and me, oh and of course we bumped into Garfield and friend, who've kept crossing our path since Ecuador.  Actually the pub is quite nice; obviously the beer is a little steep (for us) but then what do you expect for THE tourist destination of South America, just off the main square in an Irish pub.

Finally managed to take a photo of the 12-sided stone without being asked for some money.  Katie, Matt and Kara are helpfully pointing it out For Free!
