Cali; not relaxing

We arrived late afternoon on bank holiday monday.  After checking into the Iguana, to then be told we had no water for a couple of hours due to roadworks we headed out to see the sights.  The place was dead and we never quite felt safe on our walk towards the centre.  It was starting to get dark, which didn't help and neither did the Lonely Planets warnings.  So we headed back via an Italian almuerzo.  A saving grace was a splendid looking church just across the river.

Deciding we weren't going to relax here and not going to take Salsa lessons (we must be getting old), which appears to be the only real reason to visit, we decided to head on to Popayan, which sounds much more pleasant (y tranquilo).
