The flight to London with easyjet was on time! We pretty much left on time and landed a little bit early but as we were waiting for John's baggage to come off the Carousel...things weren't looking good :-(
And again John was in London with no bag! While making the report it we found out that the next flight wasn't due in until later that night when the baggage office was closed and because we were leaving for Paris at 6am the next day John wouldn't get his bag back until it caught up with us in Paris....not good!
So we got from Luton to our Hotel in Kings Cross (I showered and changed but there really wasn't anything John could do so he had to go out in shorts, a t-shirt and thongs). Anyway it didn't matter and we had a lovely evening cathing up with Michelle, Maryrose, Claire and Sarah. We had a lovely Thai dinner out in Islington (with cocktails) followed by a couple more at the Pitcher and Piano....my old stomping ground. It was really nice to be back there even if it did chuck it down with rain half way through the night and on the way home.
The next day was a really early start....we were meant to get up at 5.30 for the Eurostar at 6.55am...so we got up when the alarm went off...showered, packed up and were about to leave when we noticed the time was 4.50....doh!! we had gotten up at 4.30 instead because the clock we had set the alarm off hadn't been changed from Spain time!!! Doh....
So we left London ....again...it was cold, rainy and John had no bag (on the upside he could carry mine for me!) and took the Eurostar to Paris......
