not actually Verona. Rest station in Kiefersfelden near the German-Austrian border
I took us a looong time to get to Verona by bus. We took off from Erfurt train station, where our shuttle bus picked us up, at 8:00 am. We stopped every 2 hours for a quick break.

Near the German-Austrian border we were able to see how far down the snow had already come in the past couple of days. It was about 7 degrees Celsius which is about 40 degrees Fahrenheit.  I snapped a few pictures and hoped for better weather once we crossed over to Italy.

Took some more pictures 2 hours away from Verona in some valley in Italy. It was already noticeably warmer.

We spent the night at the Saccardi Quadrante Europa Hotel. I bought my sister-in-law some dark Italian chocolate. I know she loves that kind of chocolate and I needed something for her since I was headed to Florida right after this cruise was over.

I like both, but plain Dark is my fav...NO crazy flavors. It's chocolate, so I like it to taste like chocolate! If I want chili flavor, I'll make chili and eat a bowl...hahaha ;)

LOL.. what kind? Dark or milk, any crazy flavors? My sister-in-law wants anything dark with exotic flavors to it, like chili or orange, etc.
