After a good night sleep, I know now there are no trains during the night.
I get our breakfast, make us coffee. Well I want to surprise
Our Dutch neighbours help us turning the caravan behind the car and we are off to destinations unknown. (that sounded nice, and it is mostly correct if you bear in mind that only Miss. Eva knows where we will be going and that we can still change our mind during the trip)
I plan the trip to go by route nationale, without toll and with the time penalty for taking the scenic route.
The road works from yesterday are not done yet and it takes us 1 hour to drive
After a while we come to our camping Du Lac des Varennes in Marçon. The manager is a very friendly man, very patient in speaking French, maybe hoping he will not need to speak English?: ) (his wife does without hesitation) He proposes a place, and it is great: Sun and shadow are around, the caravan is in the shade for the hottest hours, YES!
We are very near a lake, between trees. Birds of all feather visit us where we sit, and the silence is enormous!! (except for the whispering of the trees and the irritating hornblowing of French that are going to have a party)
We have nice neighbours to the left (Dutch:) and English to the right. They are from a motorclub, so they must be o.k., we will find out.
