Day 6: From Kenting Park to Hualien
July 1, 2001
Today we left our hotel for the trip to Maopitou and Kenting National Park, with the Oluanpi Lighthouse. This park has a rough coast, with lots of beautiful nature around, where you can walk through designated paths. Along the way, the tour guide explained the small stores along the road where girls sit in all day. They are known as Spicy Girls, where drivers can buy certain kind of nuts that keep them awake during their long drives.
In the afternoon, we took the Mandarin Airlines flight to Hualien where we would stay for 1 night at the Marshal Hotel.
