Picnic in

I was asked if I would go to the vondelpark-picnic. I hadn't red about it but after searching I decided to go there, because it was just 1 afternoon. I talked to Gejah and Mandy if we could travel together and it worked out that we would go by car. After cutting the melons at Gejah's place we drove to Amsterdam. We couldn't be dropped of closer to the Vondelpark, so no trouble with carrying all the food. After a short stop by Mandy and me, we found Gejah back with Rob. Out of hundreds vondelpark-visiters she had the guts to ask him if he was a travbuddy. I think you recognized him from his profile photo.

We just walked a small distance and found a good picnic space. After putting up the TB-sign, more TB's came and we all had a great time. I have met again new travbuddy's and talked to old once. Rob brought some small barbecues and a lot of meat. And with all the food we all brought with us we had more than enough for everybody. Then there was rain..... but we were laughing about it. Some leftovers were taken in the rain by homeless people. They had a great evening I guess.
We waited till the rain was over and took the tram and train back home. After a cup of coffee at Gejah and Mandy's place I drove home.

This was a great way to meet other TravBuddys on a beautiful day in the "Vondelpark" in Amsterdam!
