I have a friend who once said, “Geez! Guess you just can’t stand to have your driving record clean for more than 2 to 3 years!”
He turned out to be right. Upon returning from Dublin, heading southbound, some asshole cut me off in the rain. Luckily, I pressed my brakes on time to avoid the guy. Unfortunately, this caused my car to spin around and flip over a couple of times, sliding towards death. Luckily, There was a light pole to soften the impact. It landed on my car. I tried to escape, but the doors wouldn’t open. As I lay in my car upside-down, and people kept smashing into the pole, it made these banging sounds of impending doom. Eventually, I came to my senses, and opened up the window to let myself out.
Some off duty paramedics told me to sit down. The police were there. It was a giant mess. Eventually, one of the officers decided to drop me off at a warm, well-lit place. On the way however, some asshole decided it was a good idea to do the same thing as that other asshole, and cut off a cop car, with this traumatized person. At least the second asshole got a ticket.
