Since we had a hangover from our previous evening, our legs were killed from walking around all day long, my face was red like a tomatoe (sunburn!)... we had to backspace our enthusiasm :)
We took the metro to the Place des Invalides, the place where Napoleon is buried. It wasn't that spectacular..however the Inside of the Buildings looks pretty interesting, and historical. I would visit it again, but it isn't really a must-see of paris.
We went on the Notre Dame Cathedral. It's located in a charming area of Paris, the Quartier Latin. The Cathedral doesn't look as big as expected. It looks much huger on Tv, than it actually is. But still, it is an impressing building.
We had lunch at a french restaurant. The price was ok. Not expensive, but neither a specialité du chef ;).
We continued our way to the Jardin du Luxembourg. VERY BEAUTIFUL public garden. I LOVED IT. its building in the center of the parc, the lake, the sun, the beautiful people...
A couple of block outside the parc, there was another Palace-Like building, which i can't remember the name right now. We had a sweet ice cream in that street! yummi! there are lots of icecream-bars, irish pubs.... in that area.
The last place we visited in Paris was the MontMarte Cathedral...
We really smashed our feet on the way up to that place. LOTS of STAIRS...and a long way uphill :).
You get a charming view upon the skyline from up there. We had a break for 1 hour, and enjoyed the beautiful scenerie of paris.
We couldn't walk no more... the feet hurt too badly.
So we took another metro ride, back to the Champs Elysée..where we ended up in the same lounge bar. Had a couple of drink (alcoholic, and non-alcoholic drink );)... 4 tasty burgers... and turned back to the Gare de l'Est, where we left paris.
