Into the EU...

After a few days in Galibi I wanted to check out French Guiana, the European Union is just so close ;)
Unfortunately I got there on a sunday, everything, even the Chinese shops were closed, hardly anyone was on the streets, the people were unfriendly and prices were sky high. After a few hours in this hot boring place I left my idea of exploring French Guiana for what it was and headed back to Suriname. On the boat back a Surinamese man offered te bring me back to Paramaribo within 10 seconds. I felt home again. :)
