A walk in the København K neighbourhood

One of my friends called me and asked if wanted to join him for some beer in Café Global because they were having a Philippine Karaoke evening. I was naturally fresh and we met up after work. It was the first time I visited the Café Global and that was quite odd since it is a café started by a group of people that have travelling in common. The place is known as a travel café where there often are presentations about trekking, cultural trips, visits to distant countries and so on. The concept is quite nice; the café serves all kind of foreign beer, beers from Danish micro breweries and you are allowed to bring your own food while you are there. I tasted a couple of Danish beers that was the first time for me. All of them were quite good but most of them were strong as well; often close to 8-9 % alcohol.
At one point during the evening we became quite hungry and we therefore decided to leave and get something to eat in the neighbourhood. We met a girl recommended Barbarellah in Nørre Farimagsgade, so we went for that. The restaurant bar was quite cool and the main concept is Latin and so was their beers too. I went for an Argentine Quilmes, which I tasted for the first time. At this point my taste buds were not very prude so I quickly judged the beer as good and went for a couple of them.
