A fantastic day with the memory of Hill of Crosses
I had for long time wanted to visit Lithuania because of all the beautiful pictures uploaded by my travbuddy Ewooce. Especially one picture that she uploaded form a book had my attention. I remember that I asked her about it as soon as I saw it and when I got the explanation on the spot decided that I had to see it. The picture had been from the Hill of the Crosses.
I was only in Lithuania for a long weekend and went there the first day just to be sure. Hill of the Crosses was quite far from Vilnius and it was hot like hell that day. I came back and parked the car at the hotel, walked down to the Town Square in front of the Cathedral and ordered a cold beer. In the great taste of this beer I had much more in return; on top of the taste I had all the reflection of the day and the picture of an amazing sight.
