Wonderful Düsseldorf
This was one of the first times I visited Dusseldorf and I had a fantastic stay there in some beautiful sunshine. I had been in Roermond when I decided to see something else. I had talked numerous times with Lauro about Dusseldorf which he likes very much so I decided to give it a try.
I parked in the city centre and was amazed by all the bars in the old part of town; one thing struck me especially and that was all the standing tables that were position next to all the bars in the walking street. I toured almost all streets before I gave myself the big gift of waking to the Promenade next to the river.
Here I had the good fortune to get a table and a seat over-viewing all the traffic on the water and the Promenade as well as on the outdoor bar where I was sitting. I remember that I was considering to book in to a hotel in the city because everything was perfect and could have stayed there for many more hours if it hadn’t been for the fact that I had to drive home.
