Het Anker a place to be
Marc was the one who introduced me to one of my favourites places in Belgium; the Het Anker in Mechelen. Marc had been living in Mechelen for some years and he knows a lot of good places to go out and eat or drink in the city; but nothing have been better than sitting eating and having a cold beer in one of the best breweries in Belgium.
I remember this place as a kind of a sanctuary for Marc and me. We worked together in the same project and sometimes we had reasons to be frustrated and confused. These were the days where we looked at each other and just said Het Anker; there was rarely any discussion, we just went there to solve our problems. The food was always good too and the beers were fabulous.
