A cold beer in a Wine and Tapas bar how rude!

We had arrived in Barcelona after a dedicated drive from Paris starting late morning. My friend Jacob and I had been briefly planning a hit and run on some major European cities in a 5 day drive-by. We had arrived in Barcelona just before eight in the evening and checked in to our hotel and were out discovering the wonders of the amazing city.

It was the first time for my friend while it was the joy of coming back yet again to a city that has touched me deeply over the years. We quickly went for my favourite place which is the Placa Real. Here we sat down and just absorbed the impressions of the city pulse while letting the city display its small miracles in front of us. My friend was clearly feeling the sensation coming to him as well and I was in the coming two days often confronted with a rhetoric question from him; why had I not been here before? But coming from a guy that loves New York I was not surprised.

The pictures of the beers are primary taken a wonderful tapas and wine bar in the Barre Gotic where I love to come for an informal snack. Here I love to sit in the bar close to the sweet waitresses and the tapas and get inspired.
