Mousel beer - first time for me

It was one of my last days in Belgium and I had been invited by my friends David and Inge to join them for a beer in Mort Subite; where both David and I love to hang out and taste some of their wonderful fresh Grimbergen Blonde.

After a beer or maybe two… we decided to find a place to eat, it was getting close to 9.30 pm and there were still many nice places open in Brussels at this time. They proposed that we should go for dinner in Taverna de Passage in the Galeria, a place I had not tried before.

The place was really nice with a fantastic authentic Brussels atmosphere; the tables were dark wood but covered with white table cloths and the waiters were all in classic white and black.

The menu was nice with a lot of traditional dishes; but as an aperitif I found yet a beer I had not tested in Belgium; a Mousel. The beer was good and fresh, just what you expect from a pils.
