Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
This past weekend we drove to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. First off this zoo was very easy to locate. We really enjoyed our visit here. They have a large variety of animals with fairly large viewing spaces, and almost every exhibit had a couple different views on the animal's exhibit. One view might be of an animal from under the water and another from on top of the water looking down or looking at the animal from the inside or the outside. We thought the exhibits were set up really nice as well, very natural habitat looking. The walkways were plenty wide enough for people to comfortably walk. Our favorite was that you get to walk into the exhibit with the kangaroos in it! We also enjoyed going into the bird exhibits and feeding the birds. It only cost one dollar for a little dish of nectar to feed the birds with. We enjoyed the train ride and the boat ride. The manatees were also fun to look at. The only thing that was in the aquarium part of the zoo was the rays, manatees and some fish. We did expect a little more with it being called Zoo and Aquarium, but we were satisfied with the manatees! We will definitely be returning to this zoo someday, especially since they are building on to it and creating a polar exhibit, which will included polar bears!!

Isn't the Columbus Zoo great? We go several times a year. Glad you enjoyed it too! Not sure why the aquarium was empty, that is usually our favorite part, maybe they were doing maintenance?
