Picking up the rental car and we're off!

My friend, Arj, and I rent a Hyundai, the cheapest car that Hertz has to offer. The vehicle already has one too many bumps and I predict that we'll be hitch hiking by Tennessee. We leave the concrete jungle of NYC, only to enter the wasteland of Newark, New Jersey. After passing the waste plants and smoke pipes, we finally drive through the forests and hills of New Jersey and then Pennsylvania. The East Coast, though, is still recovering from winter and nothing is mezmerizing.
