Then we were off to the Pren Pass waterfall. This area is pretty touristy. The actual falls themselves were nice, you can walk behind them via a man made. At this area, there was a cable car, rope bridge, horse back riding and tree houses so it was almost a theme park. Needless to say, we didn't stay for very long and quickly made our way to the next stop, Datanla falls. This was little nicer, a little more organic and not as touristy.
Afterwards, we headed to see more temples. Tue Quang Temple was just outside of town. This temple has 3 buddhas. What was special about this temple was that one of the nuns gave us a blessing. The next temple we visited was Chua Linh Phuoc. this temple was in a small village but the temple itself was huge and ornate with intricate details. The temple was decorated with ceramic pieces made of broken plates, dishes and cups put together. The buddha inside looked like it was solid gold. Outside was a huge dragon made out of beer bottles. There was a tower that housed two enormous bells. We walked up the tower which was about 4 stories tall and you could see the terraced farming fields in the village. Pretty cool.
After the long day of walking around, we went back to the Dalat marketplace to grab a beer, watch the scenery, enjoy the perfect weather and absorb everything around us.
