shopping and design

Glasgow. Nice city, nice people, GREAT shopping. Buchanan Street, Sauchiehall Street and the Buchanan Galleries are the shopaholic promised land. I regret not stopping at the Willow Tea Rooms in Sauchiehall St., they looked quite expensive from the outside.
The Euro Hostel is a great place to stay, friendly staff, clean, pub in the same building, a 10 minutes walk from Central Station, there's just a bit of noise (not much).
The city sightseeing tour is a good way to see almost everything there is to see in a few hours, but it's expensive.
I recommend the Hunterian Art Gallery and Mackintosh House, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the GOMA.
