With little over three weeks partly off work (had to lug my laptop around), I've taken off with my better half to my beloved France, this time doing the southern route from Lyon towards Nice, staying just shy of two days in Rome and catching a connection to Poland. In Poland we've stayed in the East, which was a novelty for me.

affordable and reasonable
This hotel is pretty standard as far as economy hotels are concerned. Location was decent - some 10-15 minutes away from the train station, right in the middle of the downtown. Directly in the middle of the city - makes sightseeing pretty easy and entirely walkable.

The hotel has an elevator, which was unusual, but very handy. Room is small, just a bit bigger than the queen size bed in its middle. But the washroom is entirely separate and so is the toilet, which is a nice bonus. No a/c, but it did not feel overly warm, even with shutters and windows closed.

Breakfast is NOT included and it's both yummy and plentiful, with cheeses (plural) and fresh juice drawing some attention - and it's priced a euro or so above what one would pay in a supermarket for same items - overall not bad.

While we cannot say anything particularly bad about this place, there isn't anything exceptional about it either. It may be that we were still too tired to notice. Anyway, given its price point and location, it's definitely a reasonable place to stay.
