Breda
I know Breda only from passing by on the highway heading Belgium and further down south in Europe. A comment on one of the pictures of TB marianne (reizenmar), and an invitation to come and work on that comment, put me in the center of the city Breda. Breda is located in the south of holland in the friendly provincie Brabant , and for me with all the traffic jams an hour and a half travel time.
The center of Breda is a combination of old and new, a shopping centre ,restaurants, bars and a very nice and relaxing park. On a day like i had that day, beautiful weather every one is outside, in the park, on the terrace, and in the new harbor. This was the first day of the new summer festival with music, dance and DJ's.
Marriane showed me around all the nice buildings, streets and explained the history of it. We fulfilled the comment, have a nice meal on the grote markt in a real Aussie pub, and say goodbye till next time, time was to short.
Oh....... the comment was simple, drinking a nice glass of beer, in the sun on a terrace on the grote markt.
